This is the bare unit version of the Dewalt DCH273P2. The DEWALT DCH273 Brushless XR SDS Hammer offers category-leading high-speed drilling performance, achieving more than 90 holes (10 x 80mm) per charge. It features a rotation stop mode for light chiseling in plaster, tiles, and render, as well as an impact stop mode for rotary-only drilling in wood and metal. The brushless motor and high-capacity XR 18 Volt 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion battery platform ensure extreme runtime and reduced maintenance. Its compact, lightweight, and ergonomic design enhances comfort and support during extended use.

It has allowed me to start simple home projects to drill through brick, concrete and an external wall for electrical conduit. It offers good power at a sensible weight and balance, using batteries and a charger that I already have. I can always call my son in for 54 volt tools.
