Description

The DEWALT DW055PL Pocket Laser Distance Measure has a compact design which easily fits into a pocket, so its always easy to reach. One button design allows for simple operation. The black screen with white digits/letters provides better visibility in brighter conditions. It calculates distance in Metric and Imperial. Powered by a 3.7V lithium-ion battery providing up to 1000 measurements per charge. Easy recharging via USB port, it takes 2.5 hours to fully charge from empty.

This rangefinder is small so easy to put in your pocket and place in very tight places, but otherwise it's not great. The precision is not there, between 1.5mm and 2mm error over 1m is enormous. And its small size is also a disadvantage because it is very difficult to stabilize due to its very small support surface. If I had to do it again I wouldn't buy it. I don't recommend it, except for someone who doesn't work at PM in a pinch.
