The newer DEWALT DT70779T-QZ is basically the updated replacement for the older DEWALT DT7612-XJ. The core “Flip & Drive” idea is the same — drill pilot hole, countersink, then flip to drive the screw — but the DT70779T is a more modern, impact-rated kit with a better case system and more accessories.
