This tap reseating tool is designed to repair and reseat most taps available on the UK market. It is suitable for taps with BS1010 18 TPI threads and BS 5412 BSP threads. The tool helps restore proper sealing and function of damaged or worn taps, ensuring a secure fit and leak-free operation.

Technical specifications

  • Compatible with taps featuring BS1010 18 TPI threads and BS 5412 BSP threads
  • Supplied with four plastic threaded guides for different tap sizes
  • Includes three zinc-plated hardened steel cutters
  • Cutter sizes: 17mm (11/16") diameter for some 12mm (1/2") taps, 19mm (3/4") diameter for some 12mm (1/2") taps, and 25mm (1") diameter for some 19mm (3/4") taps
