Drygrip Adhesive Plasterboard 600ml - Dryzone System Re-Plastering

Drygrip Adhesive is a high-strength, salt- and damp-resistant adhesive formulated for direct bonding to masonry substrates. Developed for use with Dryshield Cream as part of the Dryzone System, it enables secure, long-lasting attachment of plasterboard to damp and salt-contaminated walls following rising damp treatment. This low-odour, solvent-free formulation is designed to accommodate natural wall movement and cures rapidly to form a strong, flexible bond. It is ideal for remedial re-plastering where surfaces may still be affected by residual moisture and hygroscopic salts. Typical consumption is 1 to 2 cartridges per standard plasterboard (2.4 m × 1.2 m), depending on surface flatness and application technique. Drygrip Adhesive is supplied in 600 ml foil sausages and applied using a professional applicator gun. Once dispensed, it skins over in 10 to 30 minutes and reaches an initial cure within 2 to 3 hours. Full cure occurs after 24 hours, with minimal shrinkage and excellent resistance to sagging. For best results, substrates must be clean, sound and dust-free. Loose or friable material on older masonry should be removed before application using a wire brush. Once applied, the board or fixture should be pressed firmly into place with a slight twist action to ensure full contact. The adhesive remains workable for up to 30 minutes after application and can be used across a temperature range of 5-35 degrees C. Drygrip Adhesive is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental standards. It is certified under BBA Certificate 97/3363 and has passed in-house salt resistance testing for both chlorides and sulphates.
