For reliable quality, please refer to the series manual for operation. I. General Overview The DT830 digital multimeter is a small digital multimeter with a three-and-a-half-digit LCD screen. It can measure AC and DC voltage and DC current, resistance, transistor β value, diode forward voltage, and short circuits, etc. A rotary band switch changes the function and measurement range, with a total of 19 speeds. The maximum display value of this multimeter is ±1999, which can automatically display "0" and polarity, display "1" or "-1" in case of overload, and use the diode gear for short-circuit testing. II. Technical Specifications 1. Measurement Range ⑴ AC and DC voltage (AC frequency is 45 Hz ~ 500 Hz); DC range is 200 mV, 2000 mV, 20 V, 200 V and 1000 V, AC range is 200 V and 750 V; DC accuracy is less than ± (0.8% of reading + 2 digits), AC accuracy is ± (1% of reading + 5 digits); Input impedance, DC range is 10 MΩ, AC range is 10 MΩ, 100PF. ⑵ DC Current: The range is 200 μA, 2000 μA, 20 mA, 200 mA, and 10 A. The DC accuracy is ± (1.2% of reading + 2 digits), and the maximum voltage load is 250 mV. ⑶ Resistance: The range is 200 Ω, 2000 Ω, 20 kΩ, 200 kΩ, and 2000 kΩ. The accuracy is ± (2.0% of reading + 3 digits). ⑷ Diode Forward Voltage: The range is 0 to 1.5 V, and the test current is 1 mA ± 0.5 mA. ⑸ Transistor β value detection: Test conditions are: VCE > 2.8V, IB > 10μA. ⑹ Short circuit detection: Circuit resistance test < 20Ω ± 10Ω. 2. Sampling time: TS < 0.4S. III. Panel and operating instructions 1. Display: Three-and-a-half-inch digital LCD screen. 2. Power switch: Press to turn the device on and off when not in use. 3. Capacitance measurement socket: This meter does not have a capacitance testing function. 4. Function range switch: Select different functions and measurement ranges. 5. 10A Socket (cannot measure currents exceeding 10A) When measuring AC and DC currents above 200mA and below 10A, the red test lead must be inserted into this 10A socket. 6. Socket When measuring AC and DC currents below 200mA, the red test lead must be inserted into this socket. 7. V/Ω Socket When measuring AC and DC voltage, resistance, diode forward voltage, and short-circuit detection, the red test lead must be inserted into this V/Ω socket. 8. "COM" Socket of the Common Ground Terminal The black test lead is always inserted into this ground socket. 9. Beta Value Test Plug Insert the collector, base, and emitter of the transistor under test into plugs "C," "B," and "E," respectively, and be careful to distinguish whether the transistor is NPN or PNP type. V. Precautions 1. Pay attention to the correct selection of the range and plug for the red test lead. When measuring an unknown quantity, you must first set the range to its maximum, then adjust it from large to small until it is appropriate. If "1" is displayed, this indicates an excessive cut, and the range must be increased. 2. When not measuring, the power supply must be switched off. 3. When changing the range, the test lead must be disconnected from the point being measured. 4. When measuring current, avoid overloading. 5.
