Simple rail, qualitative in view of its price, it is rigid enough to be handy and relatively fine in material to marry the curl of a sheet of plywood of 12 mm or OSB, the double per chip glued (one of each side of the rail) makes it possible to have one for 90° edging and the other for angular edging, its lengthens the life of the splinter guards and this avoids, as on certain guide rails, removing the splinter part at 90° to slip the angular cut one. I specify that the rail was delivered to me cleanly in its large cardboard box, it is straight and square. The negative point, but of the least, are simply the slip and chip joints which have been glued with an overflow of 5 mm, i.e. a shrinkage of 3 mm instead of being flush with the ends of the rail, but hey that does not prevent no worked and straight sawn. In short, the Dewalt rail is a little cheaper, a little less qualitative than the Mafel, Festool and Makita models, but I'm not on it, on the contrary, it's another way of seeing and doing and for cutting panels are fine. I am satisfied

This is a great rail. You can use it it both directions and it is a very good price from Mano Mano. I have used this company loads of times and they are fast and reliable as well as very responsive to any issues.

it does what it says on the box it's a straight edge enables you to cut Straight Lines perfect if you get a bit of a wobble but unless you check it for Square it doesn't mean your cat box
