We had the opportunity to test this giraffe sander during the realization of our work, with a ceiling of more than 50m2 we needed a tool well adapted to this purpose. The Einhell sander was up to our expectations, easy to carry, without wires to clutter, not too noisy and a practical storage box. It also has the ease of connecting the vacuum cleaner hose when working close to the ground, otherwise it has the bag to keep the plaster dust. A good tool to have well sanded walls and ceilings.

This product has several positive points: the fact that you can adjust the power as desired, which allows for progressive work if necessary, the flexibility of the joint, which allows for a quick change of wall, and the system for locking the head, which works very well for dealing with the ceiling. On the downside, the integrated vacuum system did not retain much, the start button remained stuck in the on position almost all the time and I had to insist each time to turn it off, while the device is rather heavy over time, which makes it difficult to work on the ceiling. Finally, for small spaces such as toilets, it is rather difficult to maneuver with it if you only rely on this device for sanding.

I tested this sander for renovation on placo strips as well as on a ceiling. The assembly of all the parts is done quickly, the parts are really good quality. I found the handling of the device really easy, there is no need to spend hours reading instructions because there are only two buttons (the start button and the rotation speed selection button). The sander sands cleanly, the walls/ceilings are done quickly. The big advantage if you have other Einhell power x change devices is that your batteries are compatible. The negative points that I noted are the suction, which was for me a bit insufficient and let dust pass, as well as all the weight on the head of the sander (as a result it quickly becomes very heavy for the ceiling, when the handle is fully unfolded).
