Product appreciated for its ease of use, mobility and weight. Another strong point is that it is not very noisy. Quick and clean grinding provided that the diameter of the branches complies with the recommended diameter therefore for regular use in a private home. You must have pruning shears on hand to adjust the branch if necessary so that it fits correctly into the opening (which itself is well secured). Also tested on wet leaf crushing. The shavings are well detailed, we used them to garnish a massif. The 2 batteries (quick installation) fully charged at 5.2 A last for about an hour but the charger is fast which allows you to use it again on the same day. I am satisfied with this product I will keep it.

Reliable product for a small garden

Upon receipt of the product, we see that the product is correctly packaged, and its assembly does not present any particular difficulty, it is an ideal shredder for a small garden, because it is easily transportable with its battery system and the removable bag allows saving space in a small garage. It can be used with batteries from the power x change series, compatible with many of the brand's devices. It is recommended by the manufacturer to use 5 Ah batteries for optimal use. For my first use, I did a 30 min grind with my 4 Ah batteries. The device automatically cuts branches up to a diameter of 25 mm. The ground material thus obtained is quite fine and is collected in the bag provided for this purpose. In 30 minutes, I filled two bags. Its price of €240 is an asset, because it is quite accessible. On the negative side, I find it a shame that the chopper system does not start via a presence sensor, instead of running constantly. Be careful of the risk of injury if a long branch is inserted into the system, because it whips the air energetically, it is therefore necessary to wear gloves, protective glasses and also noise-cancelling headphones, the device is noisy. It has the disadvantage of not being suitable for a person who has a large quantity of shredding to carry out who will prefer a system connected to the sector so as not to be limited in usage time. You have to take into account the purchase of 2 batteries, for around €150 because added to the initial price of €240 we get a total of €390, to be taken into account when comparing to the different competitors.

Having a 4000 m2 garden with trees, brambles and bushes with branched stems, I was able to test the possibilities offered by this plant shredder. First of all, what impressed me was its lightness to move, it is suitable for people who cannot carry heavy loads which is a very good point compared to other heavier models. Its working autonomy with a battery (compatible with the entire range of the brand) is approximately 35-38 minutes which is sufficient to crush a pile of brambles and/or twigs. On the other hand, you must keep in mind that branches with a diameter of 2 cm take longer to be crushed, which still allows you to have the same autonomy but you pass less through the blades. I really liked the silence of the grinding compared to a thermal one, as well as the quality of the shavings which promotes recycling into compost for the vegetable garden. Downside if you want to shred fine damp branches, the system “fills” quickly. Finally, if you really have a lot of branches, bring several batteries. To conclude, I find that at this price, the overall quality and performance are there.
