Installation

The installation and commissioning of the robotic lawnmower is simple and quick. The power cord can be placed on top of the ground, allowing the mower to get started right away.

I am very satisfied with this robot and highly recommend it. Installation is easy. I have a 250 m² lawn and I used the 130 m of cable provided (I had about 15 to 20 cm of cable left over after installing it around the perimeter). Before installing the perimeter wire, and since it was just coming out of winter when I installed the robot, I mowed the lawn very short with my gas-powered mower. I then scarified and removed the moss from the lawn before installing the perimeter wire. Note that it is advisable to install the wire at a depth of about 3 cm if you plan to scarify the lawn afterward. I opted for the XL600 version, designed for 600 m², because I wanted a larger battery capacity, and I don't regret my choice. The entire mowing is completed in 1.5 charges, with a total mowing time of approximately 2 hours to cover the 250 square meters. The app is very intuitive and easy to use. Connecting the robot to the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth network is relatively simple. The instruction manual isn't in French, but I took photos of the pages and provided them to an AI program like ChatGPT or Gemini to get a translation (I even created a small AI agent to which I gave all the photos of the manual and a few instructions, and whenever I have a question about using the robot, I simply ask, and it provides a precise and concise answer to even my smallest questions). Please note that this product has a 10-year warranty, provided you register it on the Scheppach website within 30 days of receiving it (registration takes less than 5 minutes, so don't forget). I also purchased a Scheppach garage to protect the robot from the rain. Regarding delivery times, I commend ManoMano, as I ordered the robot around 2 PM and received it the next day at 11 AM. As for the garage, I received it in less than 48 hours. I highly recommend this robot and also ManoMano.
