Description
The Richmond offers a sleek, flat tube design with amble space to warm your towels and the ability to enhance the look of any bathroom setting. A great addition to various décor styles, perfect for both modern and traditional bathrooms. The flat panel bars allow for extra heat distribution, far greater than a standard round tube towel rail.
Unlike traditional electric elements that use a resistance wire, these towel rails use PTC elements which are made as ceramic stones. They are designed to operate at full power until they reach an operating temperature of 65°C after which the power is reduced in order to maintain the temperature whilst reducing energy consumption and cost. As a result, no additional thermostatic control units are required and significantly less energy is required than a traditional electric rail.
A bidex timer can be included, which allows you to control when the towel rail switches on and off, this can be done by either setting it to come on at certain times of the day and days of the week, or for it to come on when the temperature drops below a certain temperature. One of the main advantages of this is that it allows for you to save energy as you are only heating rooms as and when you want them to be heated.
