General Description

The electric vehicle charging station test adapter is a versatile tool designed to test and verify the functions and safety of electric vehicle charging stations according to the European standard. It can simulate the presence of an electric vehicle and is equipped with a European Type 2 plug, allowing for easy testing of the functionality and safety of AC-operated electric vehicle charging stations compliant with the European standard.   It allows for connection and simulation of communication between the charging station and the electric vehicle and can be used with an installation test device or a multimeter. Designed for 4 mm holes, it is compatible with test devices, multimeters, and oscilloscopes, and is used to verify the presence of negative charging voltage and the CP signal output.   The tool features a built-in LED that indicates the presence of voltage, and each fuse can be inspected individually. The PP rotary switch simulates different charging cables (open, 13A, 20A, 32A, 63A), while the CP rotary switch helps simulate common vehicle scenarios (A, B, C, D).

Usage

1. Preparation: Remove the test device from the EVA bag and consult the user manual to familiarize yourself with the functions and controls.
2. Connecting to the charging station: Connect the Type 2 plug of the test device to the European standard compliant electric vehicle charging station.
3. Configuring parameters: Use the PP and CP rotary switches to configure the simulation parameters (charging cable type, vehicle scenario).
4. Testing and measuring: Use an installation test device or a multimeter connected to the adapter to take measurements and verify the charging station functions (voltage, CP signal, communication, etc.).Observe the LED indicator for the presence of voltage.
5. Fuse Inspection: If necessary, individually inspect the fuses to verify their integrity.
6. End of Test: After completing the tests, disconnect the test device from the charging station and store it in the EVA bag.
