General description

The Electronic Chlorine and pH Tester for Swimming Pools is an essential tool for accurately measuring the chlorine and pH levels in pool and hot spring water. This device eliminates the guesswork associated with traditional liquid testing methods, providing reliable readings for safe water quality management.

Installation

Insert a 1.5V AA battery (positive side up) into the battery slot on the handle.

Hold the tester in one hand and the test rod in the other.

Insert the cleaned metal rod into the water to the black position.

Gently stir the water with the metal rod.

Turn the knob on the front of the tester in the CL direction until it can no longer be moved, then adjust it to match the reading from a traditional liquid test tool.

Usage

For pH testing, let the test stick remain in the water and turn the knob in the pH direction until a beep is heard (remove the battery when reading the pH).

Wait for the pointer to stop swinging to take a pH reading.

For chlorine testing, set the pointer to the "set point" position, insert the metal rod into the water, and wait for the pointer to stabilize to take a reading.

Other information

To extend the life of the tester, turn the knob to the closed position when not in use.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Do not immerse the test stick in any liquid other than pool water and hot spring water.

Regularly check battery power; the tester requires one 1.5V "AA" alkaline battery.
