Description
- [EPC 5 Pressure Switch] – The EPC 5 pressure switch ensures constant water pressure for domestic installations, garden pumps, and other water pumps. It automatically controls the pressure with its integrated switch, stopping the pump when the set pressure is reached and protecting against dry running.
- [Pressure Regulator] – Designed to maintain optimal pressure in hydraulic systems, this pressure regulator includes a valve that reacts to flow variations and a safety valve. These components ensure efficient management while preventing leaks and increasing the durability of the installations.
- [Pump Control] – This device acts as an intelligent pump control with a hydraulic section and a replaceable electronic section.
- [Pressure Switch] – The integrated pressure switch allows the pump to automatically start when the pressure is insufficient and stop precisely when the set maximum pressure is reached. Compatible with single-phase and three-phase pumps, it ensures complete pressure management.
- [Pressure Reducer] – This pressure switch can also be used as a pressure reducer, ideal for environments where a stable flow rate is essential. Its robust components and relay capable of withstanding up to 100,000 cycles guarantee reliable and consistent performance, even under demanding conditions.
With this EPC-5 pressure switch, you can maintain constant water pressure when using domestic water systems, garden pumps, and other water pumps. The switch monitors the water pressure and stops the pump as soon as the set pressure is reached. If the pressure drops, the pressure switch ensures the pump restarts. You can automatically start and stop the water pump based on the opening and closing of the corresponding water outlet. In case of insufficient water, the pump stops and the dry-run protection activates. The pump control unit consists of a hydraulic section and a replaceable electronic section: The hydraulic section includes: • a shut-off valve • a valve that reacts to flow variations • a reinforced, compression-molded plastic body • a diaphragm and spring that react to pressure variations • a safety valve to prevent water leakage if the diaphragm is damaged. The electronic section includes: • a sealed, compression-molded, self-extinguishing plastic housing • a unique, tested, and verified electronic circuit board with insulating conductive traces • a relay with a switching capacity of approximately 100,000 cycles in continuous operation with a maximum load of 1.1 kW • a varistor to protect against voltage spikes. If your pump's power rating exceeds 1.1 kW, you must connect it upstream. A standard power contactor or a suitable power relay. Three-phase 380/400 V pumps can also be controlled with a 380 V power contactor.
