Description

The Faithfull FAIHBB26HCS Hinge Bore Bit (26mm x 60mm, 8mm shank) is designed for drilling blind holes to fit concealed (Blum) hinges in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom cabinet doors. Made from high carbon steel (HCS), it is suitable for natural woods and many man-made boards such as blockboard, melamine-faced board, chipboard and MDF, though HCS is not recommended for heavy repetitive work in man-made materials. Use with a stand-mounted drill for best accuracy and safety.

26mm diameter ideal for standard concealed (Blum) hinge cups.

60mm cutting length provides correct depth for hinge installation.

8mm shank ensures a secure fit in drill chucks and drill stands.

Made from high carbon steel (HCS) for effective cutting in wood materials.

Suitable for natural woods and man-made boards including MDF, chipboard and melamine-faced boards.

Designed for use with stand-mounted drills and not recommended for repetitive work in man-made boards.

Specifically made for drilling blind hinge holes in cabinet doors for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
