The Faithfull TCT hinge boring bit features a tungsten carbide cutter and is designed for repetitive drilling of blind holes for concealed (Blum) hinges in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom cabinet doors. It performs well in natural woods and man-made boards including blockboard, melamine-faced boards, chipboard and MDF, offering a long working life. For consistent, safe results use with a stand-mounted drill. Key features: solid carbide-tipped centre point, solid carbide main cutter, relief angle to reduce drag, 8mm (5/16in) shank, 35mm diameter and 60mm length.
