Very handy for running a mains or battery circular saw along to get a straight cut. It holds firmly on the second "setting" (handle in line with the body) - I've not felt the need to use a tighter grip as I'm concerned that it might strain the handle. Sometimes it is reluctant to release from the workpiece, I've found flicking the handle from the locked to the released position helps with this. There are two 'T' slots which run the length of the rail. These could be handy, but I've not found a use for them yet! It's good that it's simple to use as the instructions are minimal, nevertheless I like it and it's useful.
