It continuously monitors the supply and cuts power within 40 milliseconds if an earth current fault is detected, helping to reduce the risk of electric shock. With a 0.10 A trip current and active RCD operation, it is particularly recommended for portable power tools and garden equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers and mains-powered drills. The plug-through design makes it quick to connect and use. Not for use on ponds as protection will be lost when disconnected.
