UTP/STP Stripping Instructions
1.Measure the thickness of the outer jacket of the twisted-pair cable to be stripped.
2.Set a blade to a depth slightly less than the thickness of the cable jacket.
3. Place the cable in the open cutting head and release the spring tension.
4.Rotate the cable stripper in a circular motion until it scratches the insulation.
5.Flex and twist the section to complete the stripping process.
Coaxial Stripping Instruction
1.Measure the thickness of the outer insulation of the coaxial cable to be tripped.
2.Adjust the depth of the shallow blade to cut through the outer insulation.
3.Measure the distance from the outer diameter. On the inner conductor.
4. Adjust the depth of the blade to cut the conductor.
5. Place the cable into the open cutting head and release the spring tension.
6. Rotate the wire stripper in a circular motion until it cuts cleanly to the conductor.
7. Remove the terminals and make a crimp connection.
