Part of the drainage system, this appliance waste trap adaptor from FloPlast is made from hard-wearing polypropylene and has a compression fitting type. It's suitable for plastic and copper pipes.
This trap adaptor fits between a standard sink trap and the sink waste outlet to enable a washing machine or dishwasher outlet connection to be made.
This is usually a retro-fit item into an existing installation. The in-situ sink trap is removed, and the trap adaptor is screwed onto the sink waste in its place. The original trap is then screwed back into place on the threaded bottom end of the trap adaptor.
Finally, connect the washing machine or dishwasher hose to the small spigot on the adaptor and secure with a jubilee clip (not supplied).
