The pump must be submerged to operate. Note: 1. This product is a solar-powered water pump without an external battery. The jet height depends entirely on the amount of sunlight. In low light conditions, the pump will automatically stop and restart intermittently until it has enough power to resume continuous operation. Place the product in full sun, without obstructions. In the shade, the pump will not receive enough power to function properly. 2. The pump must be fully submerged and cleaned regularly. 3. Handle the fountain with care, as the solar panel is very fragile. 4. Contact customer service if you notice any cracks or damage to the solar panel.
