These flat penny washers have a 25mm outside diameter and are made of bright zinc-plated steel for increased corrosion resistance. They are named 'Penny Washers' due to their size similarity to an old penny. Washers help distribute the load under a bolt head or nut, providing a smooth surface and reducing the risk of loosening caused by uneven fastening surfaces.
