My range hood power supply is not suitable and is causing these bulbs to flicker. This is not a product defect.

It does the job, but one of mine melted because the plastic was in contact with the metal of the hood's light reflector. In short, it doesn't feel like a high-quality product. Nevertheless, at this price, it's acceptable. Be careful with the hood's transformer: on older models, you either need to leave some halogen bulbs in (for example, one out of three), or you'll have to replace it because it might not work properly if the power draw is too low.
