Substantial
A lot more rigid than the cheaper one I bought, not surprisingly. Quite large. Didn't have a solid base which I had expected so had to put a thick liner in it. Over all pleased though. Read more

Very sturdy
took a couple of hours for my husband to put together as is self assembly but that was no issue. you need a drill and an electric screwdriver to make life easier for yourself but then a simple matter of assembly. Very sturdy, heavy wood, including the trellis, looks/feels very substantial. Overall an excellent size and like the fact that the trellis stands in the middle of the planter so you can train climbing plants over both sides of the pergola/trellis. Very happy and will be another one. Read more

Looks great
This is a great trellis planter and looks really lovely assembled and stained. The only downsides were that it seemed quite damp when it turned up with green mould over quite a bit of it, so perhaps was hanging around in damp warehouse... Also, all the holes had to be drilled and the instructions could have been alot more clear! But all that said, it is a good size and once it was treated and put together, we're very pleased with it . It looks great. Read more

Ok if you really want some intense diy not your average flatpack
This came as basically treated cut shaped individual planks of wood ( apart from trellis) and a bag of screws. There were no guide screw holes and the instructions were minimal. Once assembled by my very able husband after several hours it looked good but needed a liner or individual pots inside as the slats and ends had large gaps so would not hold soil. The trellis has a channel along its lower edge which will retain any rain water and potentially rot. The timber is good quality and the overall look good but had I known the foregoing aspects I would not have bought them ( we got 2) Read more

Good sturdy screen/planter combo
Easy to build with simple steps, although you need to make sure you get it square. Top struts are a bit loose fitting, as they are held by just one screw and are not tightly cut. You will need a liner before you can fill it as the floor is open slats. I used left over pond liner.Be aware that they are tall and if placed in a windy area you will need to consider the effects of whatever plants you have growing up them. Read more
