Quite easy to put up. We built it in our conservatory and then carried it outside. It does require at least two people one to hold it in place whilst the other screws. You do have to be careful and make sure to put the four main posts the right way. I don’t think the instructions made that clear enough. The cover is made of a hardy plastic which Replacement covers are also available for this which is satisfying to know
