Description
Grafting Tapes: Width: 1.2 inches/3 cm; length: approximately 328 feet. Perfect for budding and grafting. Suitable for nut, avocado, citrus, avocado, stone fruit, etc.
Biodegradable: Made of polyethylene material, non-toxic, eco-friendly and biodegradable.
Stretchable and self-adhesive: Grafting films are elastic, stretching with plant growth; Self-adhesive and no tie knots needed, greatly saves your working time.
Good sealing: The grafting strips have good sealing, so they are waterproof, and plant wounds are not easily infected, which increases the survival rate of seedlings.
High light transmittance: transparent material makes plants fully exposed to sunlight to promote plant wound healing.
Instructions for performing a graft:
After selecting a good scion and cutting it (wipe the grafting knife with alcohol) for a perfect fit to the rootstock (canbium layer should be in good contact), tie with nursery tape or rubber.
Apply this grafting tape to the grafting area, overlap 3-4 times.
Cover the grafting area with a transparent plastic bag. If there is direct sunlight on the grafting area, use a brown paper lunch bag to cover it for protection.
After 3 weeks, if the scion still looks quite greenish, there is a good chance you will see the new bud emerge from the scion in 4 to 8 weeks depending on temperature.
