Ensure the needle-to-sample pressure is at least 12 mm apart. Position the needle on the smooth surface of the sample. Apply vertical pressure to the needle until the sample is fully in contact, taking the reading within 1 second. Measure the hardness value at least 5 times in different positions, ensuring they are at least 6 mm apart (for micro-porous materials, the average should be at least 15 mm). To improve accuracy, maintain the hardness tester in the same position as the manufacturer's determination device. Other information
