Description

General Description

This ground wire tester is a multifunctional tool designed to check the safety of electrical outlets. It detects common wiring faults in GFCI outlets, such as open ground, open neutral, hot ground reversal, hot neutral reversal, and open ground faults. Thanks to its clear LCD screen, it provides easily readable test results, even in low-light conditions.

Usage

To use the tester, simply plug it into the outlet to be tested and press the test button. It allows for quick verification of the polarity of power outlets and the safety of ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs). If a ground fault detector is present, the RCD leakage test button can be used to trigger it for testing purposes.

It's incredibly easy and also displays the voltage value, eliminating the need for a multimeter for a quick check. Time will tell...

This product would be excellent if it could detect all phase positioning errors. After several tests and a thorough reading of the instructions (in English), it is specified that this device does not detect an inversion of the earth and neutral. Worse, the diagnosis is OK for the tester. Really a shame because everything else gave satisfaction.
