General description

Superior Grout Sealer is a solvent-free grout sealer designed to resist water and oil-based contaminants. It simplifies maintenance without altering the appearance of the grout while allowing for moisture vapor transmission. This grout tile sealer is suitable for both floor and wall tiles, effectively preventing mold and mildew in bathrooms and kitchens. It works on cement-based wall and floor porous grout joints for ceramic and natural tile installations, making it ideal for interior and exterior applications.

Volume: 500ml

Coverage: Approximately 15m² to 60m² per coat, depending on grout joint porosity and application method

Example Coverage: On a 30 x 30 cm tile with a 3mm grout joint, a 500ml bottle will cover approximately 40m² for a two-coat application

Expected Wear: Up to 5 years, depending on surface porosity, texture, and maintenance

Storage Temperature: Between 10°C and 27°C

Installation

For new installations, apply the sealer 48 hours after grouting

Ensure grout joints are clean, dry, and free of existing sealers or coatings using Grout Cleaner

Remove mortar or cement residue on tiles with Grout Haze Remover

Apply the Grout Sealer using a soft-bristle paint brush or sponge applicator

Allow a minimum of 30 minutes drying time between coats; apply a second coat

Conduct a water droplet test after 2 hours to check sealing effectiveness

If water is absorbed, apply an additional coat and repeat the test after 2 hours

Ready for surface traffic 2 hours after the final coat

Keep the sealed area dry for a minimum of 12 hours

Achieves full cure in 24 hours

Clean applicator tools with water after each use

Usage

May be reapplied as needed to clean grout joints

Always test a small area according to application instructions, allowing for a 24-hour cure time to determine desired results

Other information

Limitations: Do not allow sealer to dry on tile surfaces as residue will be visible

Do not allow sealer to contact any non-recommended surfaces

Sealer will not prevent surface wear from etching caused by acids or caustic chemicals

Store in the original container and protect from freezing
