General description
The Gutter Mate rainwater diverter and downpipe filter is designed to collect and filter rainwater from a guttering system before it enters a water butt or rainwater harvesting tank. The integrated filter basket helps remove leaves, moss, sand, and other debris from the water flow. Installed directly into a downpipe, the unit filters rainwater as it passes through. Filtered water can be diverted into a water butt or storage tank, while excess water continues down the downpipe once the water container reaches capacity. The unit consists of five slide-fit components and includes a removable filter basket for cleaning and maintenance.Technical specifications

Installation
The diverter is installed by cutting a section of the existing downpipe and inserting the unit using the supplied components. The five-part slide-fit design allows for assembly without specialized tools. The unit is secured using the included mounting bracket and fixings. A hose connection is provided to direct water into a water butt or storage tank.
Usage
A compatible fine mesh insert (approximately 800 micron) can be used within the filter basket for additional filtration where required.
