Description

Lasts up to 3x longer than a standard drill bit

Drilling through reinforced concrete is a tough job, and it has traditionally taken its toll on drill bits. Regular two-cutter bits get stuck in rebar and they eventually break. The Full Carbide Head on the Expert SDS plus-7X is an advanced 4-cutter design made from a single piece of the toughest metal: It doesn't jam and presents no weakness on impact.

Thanks to Bosch Carbide Technology and the Full Carbide Head, the Expert SDS plus-7X lasts far longer than regular hammer drill bits. It punches through rebar effectively so there is no need to stop, re-target or change bits when you strike steel.

For construction professionals drilling concrete and reinforced concrete regularly, for example for fixings and installations, the Bosch Expert SDS plus-7X Hammer Drill Bit offers peerless performance, reliability and longevity. It is THE Expert accessory for SDS plus rotary hammer drills.

Fits all SDS plus rotary hammer drills.

Full Carbide Head - Punch through reinforced concrete with a Full Carbide Head: A highly effective 4-cutter tip made entirely from the hardest metal.

Welding Technology - Highly resistant drill tip connection with Bosch's welding technology: This makes a perfect weld between flute and carbide head that withstands heavy-duty hammer drilling.

Good cut. Used dry in stone in perfo mode. The head coating wears a little but the efficiency is there.

In 1886, Robert Bosch, a 25-year-old German engineer, founded an electrical engineering company in Stuttgart. He was returning from a long professional trip to the United States that had led him to work for Thomas Edison, one of the greatest engineers in history. Bosch improved the ignition magnet the following year, to be the first to adapt it to a car engine. This innovation allowed him to develop his business at a steady pace. In the 1920s, he converted his company from automotive supplier to electronics manufacturer. The company has been able to distinguish itself from other brands of DIY power tools by aiming for long-term and high-end, from its famous green drill to complex products such as rippers or garden tools (sculpts -hays, chainsaws ...). This was the success we know. Bosch currently employs 280,000 people worldwide and generates 46 billion euros in sales. Bosch spends up to 10% of its turnover on R & D, a rare effort in the industry. 92% of the capital of Robert Bosch GmbH is held by a charitable foundation Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH. Thus the profits of the company are donated to this foundation. The remaining 8% of capital is held by the descendants of Robert Bosch's family.
