The lenses are good quality. However, they do have one drawback. It's not possible to adjust the convergence of the two lines of vision to focus on the same object with both eyes. The only way to use these glasses is with monocular vision. You can place a lens of different magnification in each eye, and you have glasses equivalent to having a different watchmaker's lens in each eye, allowing you to easily change the magnification and corresponding field of view, but always with monocular vision.
