We are very happy with this TV stand, but to say that the assembly would only take 1 hour is not realistic. We took 2.5 hours non stop to complete the assembly. We had to drill extra holes in many places that we not done in the factory. The top has a mark on the end, luckily on the side nearest the wall. There is also a scratch on the top of the unit, again luckily where the TV will stand. Cannot add photos. This is a good solid unit and will easily support a 55 inch TV.
