Installation

Surface mounting is recommended for safety and ease of use.

Ensure the inlet hose is tight and as short as possible, not exceeding 9 feet (2.75 m).

Usage

For optimum priming and long life, apply a small amount of lubricating oil into the pump inlet before use and flush with water after each use.

When pumping abrasive fluids or liquids containing solids, attach a strainer to the inlet to prolong the life of the pump.

Set the rotation speed between 1500 rpm and 3000 rpm for optimal performance; faster speeds yield higher lift and throughput.

Monitor the inlet tubing to ensure fluid is drawn into the pump within 15-20 seconds; if not, check the inlet tube fitting.

No dry running is allowed; if the pump does not prime, check for kinks or clogs in the hoses.
