A bathroom or restroom door without a key, what's the use? To avoid the risk of losing the WC or bathroom keys, a set with a locking button is ideal! The models available cater to all tastes; whether it's iron, aluminum, brass, zamak… They will blend in with your interior. The models come on either plates or rosettes if the set is complete.
So how do you choose the right door handle?
Firstly, choose the design you need, one that matches the design of the door handles you already have the most.
These handles will be equipped with a locking button. This type of lock offers several advantages:
- First of all, the door cannot be easily opened from the outside, which respects your privacy in the restroom or in your bathroom.
- The door will always be lockable, no need for a key to lock the door.
- The button facilitates closing the door, you just turn it, it's very quick.
- In some cases, a red or green indicator can show whether the restroom or bathroom is occupied or not.
If you are changing several of your door handles, you can find the majority of our products with different types of holes: in key I, in key L, without drilling or with a locking button. This allows you to harmonize your interior.
Plates with key I drilling will be intended for your front door, key L and without drilling, for your interior doors.
If you opt for a rosette handle, it's possible that the locking rosette is sold separately; in this case, you can find it in another category on the website. You can also choose armored rosettes of a different range.
If you are changing your handles, check that the center-to-center mounting distance, lock center-to-center distance, and spindle size match. Most of the time, these measurements are standard.
