I can't say much because I took it as a replacement (and it is still boxed) for the (identical) pump that I currently use to circulate the water in my pool heaters (therefore a totally atypical use compared to that for which it was created). For my use nothing to say, it is fine and the flow is slow enough (not because the pump does not go but precisely because with my installation it works like this).

This pump was to replace a similar Hozelock 4000 which lasted 14 years as the waterfall pump. Hope this does the same job !!
