General Description: This is an ideal tool for quickly and accurately measuring pH and chlorine levels, keeping swimming pools or hot springs within a safe pH and chlorine range. This electronic tester monitors pH and chlorine (Cl2) levels in swimming pools, spas, and various water sources. Imbalances in these levels can cause health problems such as diarrhea and ear and skin infections. Proper chlorine and pH levels are essential for eliminating harmful bacteria. If the pH is too high, chlorine effectiveness can be reduced, leading to increased chlorine consumption in the event of organic contamination. Note: Except for swimming pool or spa water, immersing the detector in water is not recommended.
