However, I would still like to point out that with the maximum settings, the handles also remain as open as possible and you have to think carefully about where you can still hold the handles when you grab them. The maximum lever length depends on the fixed handle, not on the moving part. And depending on the individual grip width of the hand, this can mean a shortening of the lever if you have to slide your hand further forward in the direction of the tong joint.
