Use and Precautions
- Use:
- Closing the lid: When closing, turn the locking knob in the opposite direction to the arrow to lower the spring-loaded locking mechanism until it is close to the lid. Place the flat lid between the pot and the handles, ensuring it fits snugly, then tighten the spring-loaded locking mechanism.
- Cooking adjustment: When the safety valve starts to hiss, reduce the heat to prevent splattering.
- Opening the lid: Before opening, remove the pot from the heat and allow it to cool to room temperature, or use cold water to cool it. Once the pressure cooker has cooled, slightly turn the safety valve to release any residual pressure, then turn the tightening knob in the opposite direction to the arrow to open the lid.
- Precautions:
- If you notice steam leaking around the lid during cooking, you must first completely release the steam from the pressure cooker (by lifting the safety valve or loosening the tightening mechanism), then tighten the lid until it no longer leaks before continuing to use it.
