Product information

Description

MaterialSteel is the material used for this heated towel rail, offering a great balance of affordability and performance. It’s highly malleable, which means it can be shaped into efficient designs that help transfer heat from the water inside the rail to your bathroom effectively — after all, a radiator’s main job is to heat the room, not just store warmth. Steel is also known for its durability, which is important since towel rails often take knocks and bumps in busy bathrooms. Choosing steel means you get a reliable, long-lasting towel rail that delivers good heat output day after day.StyleThis model features the classic straight ladder design, a long-standing favourite in bathroom heating. The ladder design refers to the horizontal bars connected by two vertical tubes, known as collectors. The “straight” or “flat” style means that the horizontal bars run straight across between the collectors, creating a completely flat profile when viewed from the side. This sleek and space-saving design is ideal for bathrooms where every centimetre matters, giving you plenty of room to hang towels without taking up too much wall space.ColourChrome has a reflective, mirrored finish makes it a popular choice for bathrooms. It adds a touch of shine and sparkle in the room and can mesh with your chrome taps and showers perfectly. Just like mirrors, a chrome towel rail can make a bathroom feel bigger – that’s right, a towel rail and an optical illusion!Heat SourceThis heated towel rail is designed to work with your home’s central heating system. Whether your system uses a combi boiler, a gravity-fed (conventional) setup, or a system with a hot water cylinder, this towel rail will connect seamlessly and provide efficient heating. By plumping the rail into your hot water circuit, it helps keep your towels warm and your bathroom cozy all year round.AccessoriesThe towel rail comes with G1/2” connection points at the base on either side, so the valves you’ll need depend on your existing pipework — which is why valves aren’t included:
  • For pipework coming from the wall, use angled or corner valves. Angled valves have a head that sticks out into the room, while corner valves tuck neatly under the rail.
  • For pipework rising from the floor, straight valves are the right choice.
Valve options include: Manual valves, which let you control water flow simply by turning the valve by hand. These are popular for towel rails due to their simplicity. Thermostatic valves, which regulate room temperature automatically by shutting off water flow once the desired heat level is reached, helping you save energy and money. Every towel rail comes ready to install with wall brackets, masonry fixings, a chrome bleed valve, and a blanking plug for the top. For a polished finish, we also recommend adding colour-matching pipe covers to complement your rail and valves perfectly.
