Description

FILTERED PARTICLES: Wound filter cartridges are ideal for retaining all suspended particles with a diameter greater than 25 microns. Used as pre-filtration in a domestic or industrial water system, these cartridges will effectively capture all of the following particles: - Sand - Mud - Dust - Clay - Scale - Rust - Algae - Pollen - Organic particles----------APPLICATIONS: With a standard size of 9 ¾" and a diameter of 2.5", the filter cartridges will fit most of your filtration or pumping systems. You can therefore equip the Eco Home cartridges in the vast majority of: - Filtration devices - Water softeners - Reverse osmosis systems - Aquarium filters----------INSTALLATION STEPS: 1) Turn off your water supply. 2) Open your filter housing using a wrench. 3) Remove the used filter cartridge and check the condition of the inside of the filter bowls. 4) Install your new filter and then close the bowls, being careful not to overtighten. 5) You can turn the water supply back on and check that everything is working correctly. It is recommended to change the filter as soon as the need arises. The lifespan of the filter cartridges is between 6 and 12 months depending on the initial turbidity of the treated water.

Since we installed this cartridge, the water smells very strongly of chlorine, and I really feel that it is not effective compared to my old cartridge, very disappointed especially since I didn't buy the cheapest one....
