The Makita DGA452Z Cordless Li-ion Angle Grinder offers cordless convenience for grinding and cutting applications. Its lightweight and compact design, combined with a small circumference motor housing and soft grip covering, enhances comfort and control during use. The grinder features an electronic current limiter to protect the motor from overload, along with a warning lamp that indicates impending overload and low battery. The anti-restart function ensures safety by preventing the motor from starting if a charged battery is inserted with the switch on.

This cordless grinder performs well using the same battery as my Makita cordless hoover. Being a Makita it is well made and reliable. I already own a corded grinder but often need to use a grinder for a few seconds and this involved finding a power point and sometimes an extension which adds time to a job. With the cordless grinder it is so simple.

This replaced a mains Powerline angle grinder which was cheap and is at least 35 years old. Certainly had my moneys worth out of that. Use Makita at work, this kit is excellent. Nice balance in the hand, powerful and just does the job. Batteries are competitively priced so 10/10.
