General description

The Makita DLS211ZU Slide Compound Mitre Saw features a brushless motor and a single sliding system for smooth operation, delivering superior cuts. Its built-in laser guide enhances precision, while the automatic torque drive technology adjusts the cutting speed based on load conditions. The rail-forward design allows the saw to be positioned close to the wall, making it ideal for tight spaces. For user convenience, it includes a front knob for easy bevel adjustment and a simple mitre angle lock. Additionally, it has two holders to support wider workpieces and safety features such as an electric brake, soft start, and a one-touch sliding lock. The saw can also be connected to a dust extractor for cleaner operation.

Either the saw is heavy, but that's the price of quality. Very stable on its workbench, a large blade diameter very useful for angled cuts. Add two batteries and there's no stopping it.
