The Makita DTD173Z 18V Cordless Brushless Impact Driver is a compact and lightweight tool designed for efficient fastening tasks. It measures just 111mm in length, providing excellent balance and ease of use. The brushless motor delivers a maximum torque of 180 N·m, with a no-load speed of up to 3,600 RPM and up to 3,800 impacts per minute. The slim design allows for work in tight spaces, while the anti-wobbling bit holder ensures precision. In impact driver mode, it can easily drive 8x240 screws into pine (for example, joining 145/45 timber with 20/8 for a deck). It's a lightweight machine with a long battery life thanks to its 6Ah battery. It has numerous modes, though I haven't tried them all yet. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. My next goal is to build my timber-framed shed. It won't be a problem!
