The Makita 18Vx2 LXT 30cm BL Chainsaw Bare Unit DUC306Z is ideal for professional and DIY use thanks to its sheer power and durability.
It has variable speed control to provide the user with optimal control, The brushless motor helps provide the tool with long life and ensures it can maintain maximum power when working under load. With a Kickback brake and electric brake, this chain saw has versatility and safety covered. It has been designed to have quick and easy chain adjustment making your day much more productive, the oil capacity display prevents users from unintentionally running out of oil and being unable to finish a job. It has torque boost mode that raises the current limit temporarily for faster cutting when approaching thicker, harder to cut branches.
The metal spike bumper is designed to firmly grip workpieces to allow for more control which in turn makes cutting easier and safer. Model DUC306Z is a cordless chainsaw powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series.
Powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC motor drive system - 2x 18v batteries will power the 36v DC motor.
The 36v DC motor delivers more power and run time without leaving the 18v Lithium-ion platform.
When different capacity batteries are used together (for example, 4.0Ah BL1840 and 3.0Ah BL1830, or fully charged BL1830 and 70% charged BL1830), the machine stops when the battery with less capacity is empty.
* Twin 18v machines must have two 18v batteries connected and with charge before they will operate.
