This is an excellent battery operated strimmer. I opted for this model as I already run numerous Makita battery tools so I didn't need to spend anything extra on batteries as i already had them. I needed a batteries strimmer for shall I say delicate strimmer. I already own a monster strimmer that eats everything in sight. This Makita is a little more subtle. The strimmer arrived promptly and was very easy to set up and is so simple to use. Replacing the cutting line is fairly straight forward. I'd highly recommend this for anyone wanting to strim small areas. DO remember this particular model does not come with a battery so you'll need to buy one. If your budget can stretch to it then go for at least a 5amp or 6amp Makita battery that way you'll get a fairly good run time. IF you run non genuine Makita batteries on your new strimmer it will in validate your warranty should you have a reason to make a claim.
