As described, it's quite sturdy; I've been using it at work for a while now and it hasn't budged. However, it's not suitable for shorter tape measures. For an 8-meter tape measure, like mine, it's not very practical to get the tape out, and it adds weight to the belt. It's designed so you can keep the tape inside and just pull the end out from the side—there's a hole on each side—but I don't find it very practical with a long tape measure. It's solid, but with a few minor flaws regarding the size of the tape measure compartment.
