The Makita LS0816F is a 216mm (8-1/2″) slide compound miter saw designed for high cost-competitiveness compared to the LS0815 series. It features shadowline technology with a built-in LED job light, ensuring precision and visibility during cuts. The saw includes a lock-off function for safety, forced dust collection with a dust bag, and double insulation for enhanced durability. The sub-base can be pulled out for stable cutting of wide workpieces, and it has a soft grip carrying handle for easy transportation.
