Product information

Description

The wheel marking gauge is an indispensable tool when marking precision joints. It can also be used as a depth gauge. Two types of cutters meet your different needs: one with a bearing provides a smoother cut and is suitable for softwoods, while the other with a locking mechanism is designed for hardwoods. It allows you to easily slice through the wood grain and create perfect cut marks. Two adjustment stages—micro-adjustment and coarse-adjustment—allow for more detailed and precise adjustments. A knurled adjustment knob and shank make adjustments quicker and easier. The 20 cm diameter precision-ground steel shaft, graduated in 1 mm increments for easy reference, ensures accurate adjustments. The 3.9 cm diameter solid brass face slides smoothly against the edge of the workpiece for smooth marking with or against the grain. The cutter retracts onto the gauge face for protection when not in use and for easy vertical storage. Bearing wheel cutter with 2 micro-adjustment levels - Coarse adjustment - Precision shaft - Solid brass face
