Description
The McAlpine BOSS82TCAST-BL is a mechanical two-piece cast iron soil pipe boss connector designed to allow a 22mm hole to be drilled into a soil pipe to create a connection point for a waste pipe. This particular model is finished in black.
The connector is made up of two parts - the main body and the compression fitting. The compression fitting is tightened onto the waste pipe using a fixing tool that is supplied with the connector. The main body is then inserted into the 22mm hole that has been drilled into the soil pipe and secured in place using screws.
The McAlpine BOSS82TCAST-BL is designed for use with cast iron soil pipes and is suitable for use with both horizontal and vertical installations. The connector has been manufactured to the highest standards and is compliant with all relevant UK and European standards.
It is important to ensure that the connector is installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. If you are unsure about how to install the connector, it is recommended that you seek the advice of a qualified plumber or tradesperson.
